How to Wash Satin Bonnets and Scrunchies
Hand wash in cold or warm water or wash with washing machine.
You can add a few drops of detergent or hair shampoo to a sink or bowl full of water. If your scrunchie or satin bonnet is very dirty, you can spray some grease remover on it and leave it for 10 min.
Gently rub the bonnets or srunchies until they are clean or put them in the washing machine with other materials.
Rinse until clean.
Dry it on a towel or a drying line and make sure not to stretch it while drying.
Do not use a dryer, the heat may damage the material.
How to Wash other Scrunchies
Materials: Cotton, polyester, nylon, or similar material
Hand wash warm water.
Use a few drops of detergent or your hair shampoo. If your scrunchie is very dirty, you can spray some grease remover on it and leave it for 10 min.
Gently rub until clean.
Rinse until it is clean.
Place your scrunchie on a towel or drying line to dry.
You can use a dryer on low heat.
Machine wash
If it is possible, put the scrunchies into a mesh washable laundry bag used for delicate materials. If not, you can wash them with your own laundry. Wash with like colors.
Use the gentle cycle, warm wash, cool rinse and low spin cycle.
Lay them on a towel or drying line to dry or a dryer on low heat.
